The Loma Linda Academy Senior Class of 2024 Dedication ceremony took place on April 12, 2024—at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Azure Hills, located on Barton Road. The ceremony's official starting time was 7:00 pm, followed by a welcome speech by Mr. Hans Figueroa, the high school principal. Afterward, Ella Sabo introduced the speaker of the night, her mother, Dr. Jessica Sabo.
Dr. Sabo is a former student who graduated from the academy in 1995. Her speech was “Celebrating the Gains, and Getting Excited by the Gaps.” After the address, the Senior Class Band Ensemble performed a musical piece. Pastor Tim Oliver then began the presentation of Bibles; every student received a Bible containing a signed message by one of their teachers. Our school Chaplain, Timothy Oliver, then sang a special song often sung throughout the years for graduating classes. He then requested that every parent stand and reach out their hand toward the students as he prayed the prayer of dedication. Afterwards, Vice Principal Liz Gray gave closing remarks and students and parents enjoyed a reception in the fellowship hall.
